Amid tension on Indo Pak Border several airports closed for commercial services

New Delhi । Several airports including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar and Chandigarh have been closed for civilian operation.  According to sources, the airports’ facilities are currently being used by the Indian Air Force. 
Consequently, no commercial operation will take place in these airports. Several flights to and from these airports have either been diverted or put on hold.

Rajnath holds high-level meeting on security

 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh called a high level meeting to discuss internal security.

The issues discussed in the meeting included the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, intelligence inputs after Tuesday’s air strikes and further strategy, said sources.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Intellligence Bureau chief Rajiv Jain, Research and Analysis Wing chief Anil Kumar Dhasmana were present in the meeting along with other senior officials.
